Fermière Label Rouge Quail

ChallansThe quail are raised in small barns of no more than 400 m², without artificial lighting. The maximum stocking density is 62 quail per square metre. Their feathers are fully grown by the time they are 28 days old, at which point they shed their down and their plumage protects them against the cold.

From this age, Label Rouge quails have access to an outdoor aviary attached to the barn. This aviary has a minimum area of 100 m² and is at least 2 metres tall. The feed is 100% plant-based, supplemented with natural vitamins and minerals. Slaughter age: Approximately 42–45 days.

A Label Rouge quail weighs 220–250 grams oven-ready. Our Label Rouge quail come from the Challans region and also carry the name CHALLANS.
